Green Book - Eine besondere Freundschaft
Green Book - Eine besondere Freundschaft
Tony Lip is an Italian-American from the Bronx, a bouncer and a working-class man. In 1962 he is hired to drive the famous Jazz pianist Don Shirley on a tour from New York City to the southern states. Their indispensable companion: the Negro Motorist Green Book, because Don Shirley is Black and the Green Book names the few restaurants and hotels open to Black people in the American South. "Peter Farrelly’s beautiful story of an unusual friendship sensitively shows how respect and tolerance are created and how borders can become meaningless.” RadioEins
