Birds of Passage
Colombia, 1968: long before Pablo Escobar would become a household name, a family of the matriarchal Wayuu tribe lays the foundations for the drug trade. Rapayet, a young man, sells marijuana to a member of the US Peace Corps. Business is soon booming and Rapayet rises to become the richest man of the remote steppe region. Wealth, power and money invade the life of the tribe, and culture and traditions are at stake.
